depending on where i am next year, i might try to get a cat. a grey kitty, or maybe calico. i shall name her rhett & miller. the & is pronounced “ampersand,” not “and.” rhett ampersand miller. she will also go by stewart ransom miller, just for fun.
sho and i had a bet about whose idea it actually was to name a cat &. it is from a conversation we had long ago; i am certain it was my idea and he thinks it was his. we bet a burrito, and then we forgot what the bet was. (in the meantime i made him buy me a burrito anyway.) thinking about cats this evening reminded me of &, though, and i was very excited to remember what the bet was about. unfortunately, though, it must have been before i was using trillian so the message history isn’t saved, and there is no way to figure out who is actually right. it’s so disappointing.
anyway i know it was my idea.
this weekend i am borrowing nice marc‘s lovely digital camera. it is small and so cute. soon there will be knitting, sewing, and other assorted crafty pictures up. yay!

Our kitties should be friends! I don’t know what mine will be named… But at the moment, I like imagining naming it Puss in Boots. It’ll probably end up being called Pretty Little Hate Machine, or something, if Eric gets his way.
