she will never be out of her misery

it is one of those days/weeks/months where i am acutely aware of everything that is wrong with me. it mostly all comes down to the same few things. insecure, basing ideas of self on others’ assumed perceptions, which assumptions are of course skewed by own wacky ideas of self, blah blah. but considering that there are really only a couple problems, fundamental though they may be, it’s amazing how much time i can spend thinking about them.
i wish i could learn to not care.
today i wore my new favorite shirt. this isn’t really notable since it’s my favorite and i wear it about once a week, but i like it and it makes me happy. it’s green! i also got to wear new happy- and blister-making cheap flip-flops. it’s summer! i wish it weren’t, but as long as it’s going to insist on being stupid weather, i’m wearing flip-flops, dammit.
COUNTDOWN OF DOOM:
four weeks until moving day.
THINGS I STILL DO NOT KNOW:
- where i am going
- how i am getting there
- how i am supporting myself once i get there
- how long i am staying there
- when i am coming back to school.
it’s an adventure!

    -You’re going to Fort Lauderdale
-You are going to get there by standby passanger on a lower cost airline.
-You’ll be there for about 2 and half weeks.
-You’ll be back to school in 4.25 months.

    glad I could help.

  • Fort Laurderdale, eh? I’m not particularly down with Florida, but whatev! Have fun!

I think you’re great! You’ll find some thing/place interesting for the time being. In the meantime, do not be afraid do ask for help from your various pals, everybody needs help sometimes.
