i just got in a random bad mood, but have been planning to post for days, so i will break the no-posting-when-grumpy rule for today, because there is much news to share! lesson of the day: if one is very determined and has a church key, one can actually open a can of peaches without a can opener. the key is lots of triangular holes and controlled mangling. (song: “firefly,” old 97s) i went to the new spl last week. sho took pictures; i’ll post them or link when/if they are up. i really liked some parts (so much light; the book spiral makes me think interesting things about classification; even the hard plastic chairs are comfortable, and the foam ones are super cushy though they look [...] i feel neglectful, tho’ i guess it hasn’t been that long since i posted. i think about posting a lot but all the things i think about saying are whiny and negative. so the theme of today’s (brief, because i need to be working on homework) is Balance. it has become clear to me that i am no longer actually interested in this term. oh, now i remember why i was hesitant at first to live with my mom next year. it’s because after about three hours i wanted to walk in front of a bus. she whacked my leg, and i asked why she had done that, and she told me to rephrase the question because i was [...] |
