Adventures on Chuckanut Drive (Day 7)

This weekend we are in Bellingham for a farm conference. We drove up Chuckanut Drive partway, and had many adventures. But there are no tubes where we are staying, so I couldn’t upload last night.

Branches over the water at (I think) the famous overlook point.

We stopped there after we had to turn around because of a rockslide! Which we just barely missed.

We were the first car to get to this rock slide right after the WSDOT truck. As they were trying to clear it, more rocks came down, so they closed the road and we had to turn around.
