I brought home one of the pork steaks I got at the farmers’ market, frozen and well-wrapped in my carry-on luggage. In transit home from Austin. I had some airport bloody mary, some airport vegetarian sub sandwich, and some homemade beef jerky.

What I had for dinner on Tuesday, March 13, 2012

Still in Texas, but going home tomorrow, so time to use up all the food. I ate my tomatoes sliced on a plate with salt and pepper and olive oil; some bread with the last of the mushroom pesto; and the last of the pork mushroom barley stew.
