What I had for dinner on Tuesday, July 24, 2012

G. was in bed sick before I even got home, but I made myself some fish tacos as originally planned anyway.

I grilled some Pike Place Market mahi mahi — I usually use halibut cheeks but they were out and the guy said mahi mahi was a good fish taco fish — with a rub based on this one, with homegrown oregano and garlic but storebought everything else.

On storebought (but housemade from local organic flour) tortillas, with Nancy’s brand organic sour cream, a chopped leaf of Laughing Crow cabbage, a homegrown radish, and

and

AND

a HOMEGROWN TOMATO

Which to be honest was not really ready, but it was ripe enough to not be crunchy and it was delicious and amazing.
