What I had for dinner on Friday, September 7, 2012

My current cook-like-you’re-single favorite meal is:

2 oz penne or similar fat pasta (not spaghetti), cooked
~1 Tbsp diced local shallot
1 can locally-fished albacore tuna
buncha capers from the organic capers jar in the fridge, plus caper juice
as many homegrown tomatoes as seems appropriate, chopped
a big drizzle of olive oil
s&p as usual

Combine in bowl after you put unwell husband to bed, and devour while watching ST:TNG (another -like-you’re-single indulgence).
