Ground beef and sauerkraut paprikás thing.

Kitsap ground beef, Laughing Crow onion, Laughing Crow cabbage home-fermented into sauerkraut, etc. Homemade spaetzle with organic flour, homegrown eggs, homegrown milk.

Served also with homegrown kale sautéed with homegrown/Laughing Crow garlic and a bit of Island-grown home-smoked ham for seasoning.

G. met me in Seattle and we had happy hour at Lecosho. We had: pork terrine served with mustard and pickled radishes and carrots; sardine tartine, with grilled sardines on toasted bread; spaetzle with brown butter; house-made sausage served with lentils; braised winter greens with garlic.

We went out to pub trivia and then to a meetup. Had a couple pieces of meh pepperoni pizza. Then we got back to the ferry in time to have Ivar’s clam strips and fries. Hooray (?) for late-night junk food dinner.
